Company

Akhela is an Italian ICT company. Established in 2004 from a merger of ICT and electronics companies belonging to the Saras group, it has continued to expand even through the recent global financial crisis. The reason for this success is Akhela's winning formula: a portfolio of offerings focused on mission-critical areas, which call for quality services, extremely high levels of technical expertise and a natural aptitude for innovation and service. Akhela's track record in managing the IT systems and infrastructures of high profile clients demonstrates its ability to effectively fulfil complex and challenging requirements involving critical situations, highly complex systems and tight timescales.

Akhela's growth is borne out by the figures*. Between 2007 and 2009, Akhela rose from 102nd to 88th place in the Top 100 ranking of Italian ICT firms, with an increase in turnover from € 13.9 to €21.6 million (+55.4%) over a period of four years. The number of employees likewise increased: from 176 in 2007 to 277 in 2009 (+ 57.39%), thanks also to the acquisition of Artemide Tecnologie Informatiche, and with a further 20 employees added in 2010 for the new offices in Maranello.

Akhela operates in conformity with the established quality standards, is ISO 9001 certified, and has achieved Level 2 compliance with the CMMI® for Development. Akhela adopts procedures and infrastructures designed to ensure maximum business continuity and confidentiality for all our client's data and operations. The conduct of our employees and associates is governed by a specific code of ethics.

Akhela has offices in five locations in Italy: Cagliari, Maranello, Milan, Rome and Turin.
